Our Mission

Our Commitment to Marriage and Family

We recognize the importance of marriage in creating family units and fostering community bonds. Marriage serves various purposes, including providing a framework for raising children, creating alliances between families, and offering personal fulfillment.

Our Approach

We strive to provide meaningful, personalized ceremony options that respect each couple's unique background and wishes. We uphold the legal and social significance of marriage while embracing its evolving nature in modern society.

We proudly offer and support same-sex civil marriages, celebrating love and commitment in all its forms.

Our affiliated organizations work together to ensure that all couples have access to dignified, respectful, and legally recognized marriage ceremonies. This reflects our commitment to equality and the diverse fabric of our community.

Our Beliefs

Marriage, as a lifelong union between two individuals, is an institution that serves as a cornerstone for civil society.

To build a robust economy, we must nurture thriving, two-parent families.

Protecting marriage is essential for achieving better outcomes for our children. The cost of family fragmentation—through divorce and unwed childbearing—burdens U.S. taxpayers with at least $112 billion annually, totaling over $1 trillion each decade. These costs arise from increased taxpayer expenditures on antipoverty, criminal justice, and education programs, and from lower tax revenues due to reduced opportunities for individuals who grew up in poverty.
